BRIEF:

Concepts and Brand Development for a Sport and Leisure Management Consultancy.

RESPONSE:

An initial branding deck response with three logo options and their executions across a range of collateral was presented back.

John Birch Consultancy – Research/client briefing revealed the success and legacy of the client’s involvement in the delivery and post event operation of key olympic venues had elevated him to being the ‘go-to guy’ when it comes to the pre-planning, launch, operation and delivery of international venues.
His name therefore was not so much his bond, but his brand.

In developing the logo I felt that interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills were at the core of his offering, so the brandmark became one of the venues that became his legacy, the Velodrome, look again and you’ll see it is formed from two ‘speech bubbles’ a nod to those communication skills.
