The nicknames you get in the workplace. Part banter, part affection, if you get a good one it stays with you. Mine stayed.

SlamDunks was borne out of ‘Leigh Dunks’ – the moniker my parents bestowed upon me and you’re right – school was tough.

Slam or Leigh, I answered to both. I’m a Creative with over 25 years agency experience working with some of the world’s biggest brands. I’ve worked across many disciplines including branding, print, retail, packaging and digital media, utilising my broad and diverse skills – Ideation to copywriting to design, working in multidisciplinary agencies, you sometimes have to wear multiple hats.

Outside of work, much of my time (and money!) is spent on my 1929 Ford Model A Hot Rod Roadster which I’ve raced on Pendine Sands, gaining entry into the Vintage Hot Rod Association’s 100mph club…*thus earning the aforementioned t-shirt.
